There are extras. For example, we have a hairdresser on-site. A regular wash and fan is included but you would pay extra for cutting and tinting. In the spa, if you have more than one massage a week, that’s extra.

When you sign up with Anannda, you provide a security deposit that covers the first few months (the number of months taken as a deposit depends on the expected length of your stay). If you cancel, you lose this deposit, that’s all.

For example, say you’ve signed up for 1 year and provided a down payment of 3 months rent, then if you leave before the end of the 3-month period, you only lose the remainder of that period. If you leave after 3 months, there is no cancellation fee.

If you want to cancel or terminate your contract, that’s fine. Although we are sad to see you leave, you’ll only forfeit your security deposit. In your case this would be 2 months rent.

All the Anannda Resorts have a medical team on-call when needed.

Medical centres in Koh Samui provide a full range of high-quality healthcare services. Medical centres that include the prefix “International” speak English and specialize in serving foreign patients.

There are also a number of hospitals in Koh Samui. Bangkok Samui Hospital is the island’s best medical facility providing the latest equipment and a dedicated team of English-speaking doctors in various fields. There are 3 other hospitals that offer a wide range of medical services, including emergency care for English speakers. In addition, there is good medical care in Surat Thani, the provincial capital, only a short boat ride away.

Yes they are. The level of health care in Koh Samui is excellent.

Pharmacies are found throughout the island so getting prescription drugs and medical supplies will take no time at all. You can buy generic prescription drugs that are much cheaper than their brand name alternatives. You can also be certain that you will never be sold counterfeit medication. Most pharmacies in the tourist areas of the island offer catalogues to help you locate a generic drug that corresponds to your prescription. If you can’t find what you need, we can bring it in overnight from Bangkok. Make sure to bring with you a list of the medication you take from your doctor.

Gladly, subject to proper documentation.

Dengue fever is a mosquito-borne disease. The best treatment is prevention. Bring with you mozzie repellent and remember to use it, and wear long sleeves in the evenings. There is no treatment, but bed rest, pain killers and plenty of liquids is recommended.
